Posture is how we hold ourselves at any given time, and our brain does a wonderful job of accommodating the positions we use most. For example, if we had to squeeze our bodies into a tight space and stay there for an extended period, our brains would recognize this and try to make this easier. Such a position is not good for your physiological functioning, and trying to get out of that position can be a bear. Numerous factors affect our everyday posture: injury, repetitive use at work, our golf stance, the way we sleep at night, sitting at our desks or constant use of our mobile devices…all of which can contribute of imbalance in our posture and dysfunction.
