Over thirty years ago, Faith Kowalski launched what once was a dream she joked about with her sister Brigid Slack to open their own salon. Faith previously worked many years with Mckeesport Redevelopment Authority but decided to stay home and spend the early years raising her son, Darin, after his birth. When she was ready to return to the workforce, Faith followed a desire to do something a little different this time. After presenting their ideas to their husbands and gaining their support, Faith and Brigid bought their vision of Elegante Details Salon to life.
